Our client is an established financial services firm based in London, seeking a driven and methodical Head of HR to grow and develop the existing HR service. The ideal candidate will be process-orientated with a finesse for building relationships and delivering change. Reporting directly to the Head of HR Service Delivery, the role will require the ability to work well autonomously whilst supporting the development of a team of 4 direct reports. This is a varied and fast-paced role with scope to make a real impact through driving positive changes within the HR service. Duties:
  • Oversee HR operational processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and HR administrative services
  • Streamline and manage processes, bringing fresh, value-add ideas to improve service quality, focussing on employee experience
  • Lead on developing the HR system to fully utilise its capacity and improve employee experience
  • Data, systems and reporting projects
  • Build a fully integrated HR Service Delivery team, including documenting and streamlining HR operational processes
  • Regulatory projects, including SMR, GDPR and Brexit
Skills and experience:
  • Team development and line management experience
  • Strong exposure to HR operations
  • Analytical thinker with a focus on improvement
  • Significant experience of successfully managing a wide range of HR projects through to completion, drawing on HR knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of a wide range of HR systems
  • Experience in proactively leading on, identifying, designing, implementing and monitoring new HR processes
