Our client is seeking an experienced and accomplished Head of Reward to shape and lead the global total rewards strategy. The role is responsible for all compensation and benefits, pension and international assignment strategies and will include the design and delivery of refreshed reward initiatives in line with the companies strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be experienced in HR leadership and have had exposure to working with global reward strategies. Duties:
  • Development and implementation of the reward strategy to include: incentive scheme management, benchmarking, pension management, benefits management and annual compensation events such as bonus and salary review
  • Accountable for the reward budget
  • Development and delivery of people analytics to identify trends and deliver solutions
  • Manage global insured benefits, including private medical, Group Income Protection, Critical Illness, Life Cover
  • Engaging with the key stakeholders in the organisation regularly identifying opportunities to improve our compensation and benefits arrangements
  • Leading the core cyclical reward activities including annual salary review and bonus payments
  • Managing benefits change projects including working with brokers to manage the portfolio
  • Design and implementation of compensation and benefits structures for new markets
  • Represent the organisation on external reward matters as required
  • Overall accountability for international assignments and all policies relating to international mobility. This will include a generic knowledge of immigration, expatriate taxation and mobility practices
  • Design and implement appropriate and intuitive schemes as required such as short-term bonus scheme, long-term bonus scheme, recognition and cash-award merit
Skills and experience:
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • CIPD qualification desirable
  • Extensive experience as a reward manager
  • Exposure to developing, implementing and managing reward strategies
  • Well versed in managing global mobility and expatriates
  • Good working knowledge of pensions legislation
  • Previous experience working with flexible benefits schemes and an understanding of salary sacrifice legislation
  • Benchmarking and job evaluation expertise
  • Computer literate, able to make full use of HR systems for reporting purposes
Ability to manipulate and interpret salary data to inform the reward strategy
