Are you an HR Contractor looking for your next role?
We're working with a growing business based in Borehamwood to recruit an HR Advisor for a 12-month maternity cover contract with an expected start date of mid-July. In this fast-paced and varied role, which has many business partnering qualities, the successful candidate will provide support to the Head of HR across a range of areas.
Responsibilities Include
  • Supporting the recruitment process; supporting and coaching key stakeholders through the process, managing external agency relationships, screening CVs, etc
  • Assisting the Head of HR with a range of employee relations issues including grievances, disciplinaries, performance management
  • Managing and reporting on HR data; managing absence and sickness records and highlighting areas of concern, providing data and statistics to the Head of HR for analysis
  • Monitoring spend against the HR budget for recruitment and training, reducing costs where possible
  • Planning and implementing training and social value initiatives
    You could be the successful candidate if you...
  • Have a solid background in HR Advisory (3+ years)
  • Are CIPD qualified or working towards a qualification
  • Have an understanding of employment law
  • Are flexible, resilient, calm under pressure, a strong communicator and not afraid to challenge/ask questions
  • Able to deal with sensitive/confidential issues, maintaining discretion at all times
  • Can work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
  • Have strong Excel skills to analyse data and run reports
