A market leader in manufacturing, our prestigious client is seeking an outstanding HR Director to shape and implement transformational change within an exciting period of high growth and investment. The ideal candidate will have gained leadership expertise within a high profile and fast paced culture and will have the gravitas to drive tangible changes in organisational culture. Strong levels of commercial acumen and the ability to think broadly and creatively within an ever changing environment are a must for this position. Duties:
  • Assume a hands-on and influential senior leadership role across both operational and strategic business areas
  • Act as a catalyst of change and create a progressive people agenda
  • Proactively drive the people agenda in alignment with strategic business goals
  • Channel the HR function and operate as the voice of HR on the Board and understand where HR can add significant commercial value
  • Accountability for HR activities across the business, where people, organisational and cultural development will be a vital component in delivering the improvement necessary to support growth plans
  • Lead a highly committed HR team who provide a day to day business partnership service in an industry where year on year growth is a given
  • Deliver and champion effective HR change management activities for the organisation in order to drive sustainable business improvement
Skills and experience:
  • CIPD qualified
  • True HR generalist experience with a proven track record of successful leadership
  • Be progressive and creative, with the desire to make their mark in a fast paced and growth orientated organisation
  • Senior HR leadership experience essential, ideally within the manufacturing sector
  • Posses strong commercial acumen and a desire and determination to drive change
