We’re looking for an Engagement Officer to join the team at a high-growth healthcare business based in Hatfield. This is a newly created role, which focuses on the first three months of the new employee life cycle ensuring they have a positive and successful start with the business.
Responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring the first three months of employment, checking in on key areas including:
    • Ensuring the induction process has been completed
    • Checking that the employees pay has been timely and accurate
    • That they have met their line manager and understand their reporting structure
  • Speaking with various departments and managers internally to ensure any employee issues are resolved, escalating queries where necessary
  • Understanding the requirements of new joiners throughout the group
  • Gathering information and feedback to provide metrics to the wider business of trends locally, regionally and within division
  • In the event of any failures, providing support and following up with managers
  • Updating the HR/Payroll system

  • have worked in an HR or Administration team previously, and have some understanding of payroll and HR processes/systems
