A fantastic organisation, well known in their sector for providing exceptional services in the Healthcare industry, is seeking an operationally-focussed and resilient HR Manager to join their team. Reporting to the HR Director, this newly created role will be fundamental in developing the HR brand and ensuring operational excellence across all HR deliverables. This truly wonderful organisation will need someone special to step up to the plate and offer leadership to HR juniors, ensuring the very best level of HR service is delivered for their unique internal customer group.
The Human Resources Manager will take the lead on all HR processes, ensuring organistional fit and compliance. They will be proactive in developing smarter ways of working and will take a hands-on approach to developing the HR function across the full generalist remit, including areas such as Recruitment, Policy Development, Reward and Employee Relations. With line management responsibility for 2 HR Assistant's, the HR Manager will provide expert guidance and coaching whilst ensuring operational demand is met. As 'number 2' to the HR director, this role will also support the development of HR strategy and the successful postholder will be confident to step up in the HR Directors absence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven HR Manager or Senior Advisor / Officer who enjoys getting their hands dirty to make their mark in a fast-moving and operationally focussed environment.
Skills and experience:
- CIPD qualification
- 5+ years experience working in a generalist HR capacity
- Solid understanding of the employee lifecycle, including areas such as recruitment and employee relations
- Ability to work on own initiative and take the lead on operational HR workstreams
- Line management experience advantageous
