Absolute HR Recruitment is working on a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to be responsible for the development and execution of a Global hospitality organisations ambitious People Plan. The successful candidate will manage the successful delivery of HR and business initiatives, giving strategic support to a critical area of our business. Reporting into the HR Director, the ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate high levels of commercial acumen, have the ability to work at pace and communicate effectively across a number of senior stakeholders. Duties:
  • Work closely with the senior management team to define and execute strategic people and engagement plans to drive a high performing culture and employee engagement
  • Lead and develop a team of business partners to ensure effective delivery of strategic HR to our business
  • Lead on the people implications and requirements of all business programmes and projects, providing strong HR technical expertise & input and effective project management capability to successfully implement any change initiatives
  • Provide a solution focused HR consultancy service to key senior stakeholders linking business initiatives back to the ongoing development of the People Plan
  • Ensure all HR frameworks, such as Performance Management and Reward, are successfully embedded and understood
  • Ensure focus on Succession Plans and Talent Management with a view to supporting the development of our future leaders and top talent
  • Review organisational structures in accordance with our organisational design principles, providing challenge and creative thinking in reaching practical and pragmatic solutions for the business
Skills and experience:
  • Experience of operating as a Senior Business Partner in a commercial HR function managing a HR Business Partnering team
  • Analytically minded and able to interpret HR data to drive business improvement actions
  • Proven ability to build strong, credible business relationships at a senior level
  • Proven experience of managing and supporting major change initiatives
  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Strong breadth and depth of 'technical' HR skills and employment law knowledge
  • Extensive experience in Consultation with Unions
  • Strong persuading and influencing skills
  • Strong general business knowledge and commercial acumen
  • Experience of managing relationships with outsourced providers
  • CIPD qualified
